The Ultimate Bride, 4 & 5/1520 Main South Road, Sturt

I brought two dresses from this store the lady that helped me find my dress was very helpful and polite. However i found the lady i think she is the manager (not sure though ) very rude and pushy. I had put a vail aside but changed my mind about wearing the vail i had called the previous day to say i wouldn't be needing it and the lady that helped find my dress was fine about it, however when i got there to pick up my dress the manager was quite rude and said they don't normally let u put things back that you have put aside she then said in a very nasty voice don't worry about it as someone else will wont it as i will never get the opportunity to get a vail that good again. I really think the manager needs to focus more on her customer satisfaction/service rather then trying to make a sale and more money. Perhaps the girl that helped me find my dress should become the manager......

We had arranged an appointment to meet at this shop to try on some dresses that had been prior arranged. We had picked out the design & colour of the bridesmaid dresses and we just needed to be fitted for them, well that's what we were lead to believe. After arriving on time & explaining we had an appointment to try on the dresses the assistant carelessly told us, “we don't have the dresses & the dress maker wouldn't be able to make them in time for the wedding, so sorry we cant help you”. We were all a bit shocked, as we had arranged this days before and if for any reason they couldn't help us a phone call would have been the more efficient & professional way of dealing with us instead of wasting our time, seeing as we had travelled two hours to make the appointment. The assistant then advised us that we could pick something from the rack but it would be hard to match as they were all 'what you see is what you get'. We were all so gob smacked at how unprofessional this Bridal shop was or more so their staff.. oh but it gets better, we weren't happy with any of the dresses on the miss match rack so we started asking about how we could get these dresses we wanted in time for the wedding.. the assistant came back with, “your best bet is search the designer on Ebay but that's just between you and I”. I would not rate this Bridal shop to anyone, the staff were very unprofessional and unhelpful.

What a fantastic store! From the minute you walk in you are greeted and made to feel welcome by all the staff. You don't have to sift through a load of awful dresses to find something special because everything is gorgeous. I got my dress, veil, jewellery, and all of the above for my bridesmaids too. I got to pay everything off on lay-by too so it made it easy. The lady that helped me was honest with her opinion, you could tell it was genuine not like all the other stores you go to and hear about how great everything looks when it clearly doesn't! Thanks The Ultimate Bride, you have made me a very happy lady!!
