Toolangi Forest Discovery Centre

An interesting building dwarfed by the tall trees of Toolangi which surround it. Some fantastic photos and information on the Toolangi State Forest. As it is owned and managed by DSE, the information displayed gives the impression that the forest is sustainably logged (sorry 'harvested)' to world best practise...blah blah...Google maps - statelite view tells the real storey of decades of clearfell logging creating single aged (young) forest with the drastically reduced biodiversity which follows. The patch work of logging coupes is clearly seen from the air, this is not a forest, IT'S A TREE FARM.
