The waxes were pretty disappointing, especially having later seen madame tussauds (in HK, although they too had quite a few not so lifelike ones). But i enjoyed the house of horrors tour, which i found fascinating.

What a great waste of money!!! Don't go!!! Nothing like Madame Tussaud's in London or Los Angeles. When we arrived we were given no fair warning that the House of Horror's would not be suitable for young children! We weren't given any choice - we had to pay to see both sides of the exhibits. The front of desk was extremely rude and snatched our money. He then constantly nagged us to keep control of our children - our kids were far to frightened to be running around! He really needs some customer service training! Unlike London's museum, all the exhibits are either behind bars or glass making it impossible to photograph. The exhibits were a poor representation of the real person. And finally, there are no public toilets! How did the council ever pass this building without toilets, is beyond me!!! DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR MONEY - heaps of other fun and interesting things to do on the Gold Coast!!!

I went there with my teenage kids and 10 second after we got in we realized it was a bad decision. The space is small and the statues are horribly made. Looks like they are made by amateurs. Luckily the statues had name tags, otherwise we would have not recognize them. There was also a guided tour - the guide was lame making bad jokes and telling his speech like a poem learnt by heart. When I got out of there I promised myself I will find the means to write a review. IT WAS THE WORST TASTE EXPERIENCE EVER !!!
