I cannot believe that you have sort fit to not put up a Xmas tree in WestLakes Westfield and the xmas decorations are absolutely pathetic. Also making the stores limit there xmas spirit in the mall ie the wishing tree in Kmart. westlakes has always been a favorite shopping place for me but what with the Parking and now lack of xmas spirit I will certainly go out of my way not to shop there. Being a pensioner doing shopping and meeting friends for coffe can sometime take more that 3 hours. In New South Wales they tried to omit Xmas spirit and what do you think they are now allow christmas decorations in the Mall What with offending other Religions well they now live in Australia we should be able to celebrate the way like. Stay away from this shopping centre. The carpark is a nightmare and management do their best to make it as difficult to exit as they possibly can. No exit signs and exits are blocked off without notice. STAY AWAY My rating is diabolical! I had to click on a star to have the site accept the review. It is not even worth one star but goes well into the minuses.

KFC

Westlakes is my local shopping centre and ive never found any issues with it until i had my Daughter 8 weeks ago. I've been finding the pram parking unavailable the majority of the time i go there and it's generally because inconsiderate people that dont need them use them. perfect example was a gentleman today pulled in to one as i went to go and he had no children when i pointed it out he simply said "my wife and kids are inside" as I watched him leaving there was no wife and no children, and then another gentleman used a pram park as a disability park, that i find to be extremely rude as there is by far many more disability parks around the establishment that he could have used rather than using one of the few pram parks. So i think at the rate its going if Westlakes does not start monitoring the use of these parks and providing more around for us with children they are going to lose a valued customer

Numerous shops with a wide range, parking can be a trouble in certain areas, especially near the food court and K-mart, recommend parking elsewhere for convenience. Also stay away from the areas near the Food court and McDonalds on Thursdays, and maybe Fridays and Saturdays, as this is where local youths will congregate, and may cause disturbances, as this has happened before. Due to its close proximity to AAMI stadium, Football days will cause heavy traffic, it is not recommended to go to the mall whilst people are going to the match or leaving, however, during the match it is not busy.
