Good customer service and came in with a decent price

Been there twice. Two bad experiences. Put a deposit down on for them to order 08' Sachs Express KN150, that never came. I was told that the waiting period was six weeks. Bike never came after 10 weeks and I asked the sales manager what the hell was going on? He claimed he knew nothing. I checked with the importer (Stony Creek Powersports in NSW) and they told me the factories in China had been flattened by the 08' earthquake and they could not deliver for another 3 months. I asked for my deposit back and the sales manager refused. I took the case to Consumer Affairs Victoria and A1 then refunded me without question. Secondly, two years later, DIFFERENT sales manager. Sold me a bike with a roadworthy that had ten defects that make it not roadworthy. I took it back and they fixed most of the defects, but one(that they claimed was not a defect). I took the bike to my mechanic and then a Honda dealership(technician and service manager looked at it) to get a second and third opinion. All three people agreed that there was a defect present. After some arguing, A1 finally agreed to fix it. I would not trade with this dealership again. The ACCC, Vicroads and Consumer Affairs need to keep a bloody close eye on this business.

I've had nothing but great dealings with A1. All the staff are riders themselves, so you actually get advice worth listening too. My wife always likes the atmosphere in the store, so i never get in trouble for wanting to go there for a look. They always have plenty of bikes with heaps of variety, and dido with gear. Specalists in Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Benelli, Husqvarna and heaps of Used.
