Finding a great mechanic, one who had integrity and one whom you can put your trust in, is like finding a polar bear in the Bahamas. My experience with Reliable Automatics and Automotives to say the least, was remarkable. My Honda Legend sports coupe required a part that was a challenge to source. Ryan, the manager, however, took on that challenge and literally continued to search for the part where other places would have given up. He secured possibly the only part available in Australia. The part sourced I know took considerable time and extra mile effort on his behalf, Ryan gave a fair price and the investment was well worth it. My car now runs as if it on rails, and the service was beyond my expectations. I have no hesitance in promoting Ryan and his business should you be in the market for a mechanic in Brisbane - one whom you can trust that stands by their name ... reliable. I recently started the process of selling my car. I went to Reliable Automatics and Automotives for a RWC, and their service was quick, professional and thorough. Instead of quoting a huge repair bill, they identified some repair jobs I could do myself, to lower the cost. When I returned the car to get some more major mechanical work done they were able to source hard-to-find parts for my Peugeot, address all the problems and pass the car through the RWC, in half a day. Best of all was their honesty - they quoted me over $700, but the mechanical problems were not as severe as first thought, which almost halved the final cost to approx $450, but had they not told me, I would have been none the wiser. They are consumate professionals, and this was the best experience I've had with a mechanic, full stop. Would definitely recommend, as they are true to their name, and very reliable. Quick, Value for Money, and Genuine sums up this business!

I am VW fan, regularly have my VW Golf serviced with these guys and save a fortune !! Can recommend them highly to all VW owners, great timely service with a minimum of fuss. Have the car serviced whilst I wait - enjoying the paper and a coffee at the Mc Donalds on the corner.

In responce to Alan Meckler review below, We question the validity of the comments as we have no records of performing these tasks for this or any other customer and have no record of this customer at all. If Mr Meckler believes we have a case to answer we would be only too happy to speak to him to resolve this issue. Otherwise I would suggest he has the wrong business name.
