Abajaz Motor Inn

We had an overnight at this motel which was comfortable. Had a bad experience in one of the cabins at a caravan park in the town some years before have always avoided staying again. This experience was much more pleasant.

My husband and I needed accomodation for one night in Longreach and a relative booked us in at Abajaz Motel. We arrived very early in the morning to be met by a charming gentleman who proceeded to arrange a room for us with as little fuss as possible. He was friendly, helpful and very courteous. Having worked in the industry myself I was pleased with the size for cost of the room, amenities and the best HOT water showers. The motel is well located and has pleasant surroundings. As good as you need and reasonably priced. The managment are only new to the location and I wish them the rewards they deserve. Thankyou both

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Longreach. Abajaz was quite nice, service was friendly, and there was lots to see and do a short distance a way. A real outback experience.

After having a great overnight stay in Rockhampton for $90 I was hoping for a similar experience in Longreach, fair enough much smaller town but paying the same price. Afraid not. Not so friendly reception staff, was not even given a smile. The room.... there is a mouse dropping on the bathroom vanity, a dead cockroach on the floor next to the fridge and the place just not very clean in general. Would not recommend.
