Able Trailers

You Get what you pay for . Ive very recently purchased a trailer from these guys (2ton braked box 8x5 $2400 ), put it on and off my ute about three times and the trailer plug has already broken . also the tie down bars have already bent . amitted I was using 2500kg truck straps but it is a 2000kg trailer it should be able to handle this it can't due to the fact the chinese manufacter ( YES THESE ARE MADE IN CHINA) of these trailers havent placed enough reinforcing bars ie from trailer box to the tie rail . The fold down tailgates frount and back are cheap and will bend given time and I bet the locking mechanism will also brake with one or two uncontroled load movements ALso they have used a fairly small amont of weld to hold the upper box to the lower box ! Id persionally not buy this product again . I amit I didnt see the trailer in person before ordering it got excited and needed a trailer ASAP so yeah time to ring consumer protection as I have doubts these trailers are truely up to the task they where designed for . However if they get the Chineese to fit these issue the trailer is otherwise good and easy to reverse due to long tow bar and the owners have been so far friendly ,
