I found the place to be one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. The food was really tasty and authentic. Loved the rissotto and the pasta.. the staff is absolutely friendly and made sure we were comfortable and cozy. The restaurant is BYO, so you would have to get your own bottle of wine to complement that tasty pasta.. Would love to go there once again and enjoy a beach side Italian at its best!!

Annies has greatly improved over the last few months, I recently walked past and was suprised to see the restaurant was very busy. After waiting a short time to get a table, we we're promptly served by the waiter and sat back to enjoy the night. The atmosphere is great for a small restaurant, everyone seemed to be enojoying themselves. We recieved our meals fairly quicky, although we just order some pizza and side dishes, food was great, service was quick and definatly good value for money for the locals

Came in on a Saturday evening about 8pm. About 2/3 of the restaurant is full with people just finishing their meals. It's very hot inside, but hey - we didn't want to go to find another place. There is one waiter who is trying hard, but seems a bit overwhelmed. As Annie's is byo, we arrived with a bottle of wine - but apparently there were no more wine glasses (or any clean glasses at all for that matter) left in the whole restaurant. Even when customers left, their glasses were not washed or offered to us. After speaking with a neighbouring table, they were nice enough to offer 3 glasses they didn't need though. When receiving the bill, we were surprised to be charged for corkage - even though the restaurant didn't really offer us any service whatsoever (granted they will have to clean the glasses). When asking the manager about it, he said that he didn't care if we didn't receive any service and had to organize everything ourselves, all that matters was that we drank wine in his establishment. Furthermore he thought we should be grateful being served at all when the place was clearly very busy. - So we paid and left unhappy, unwilling to argue any further. We've been visiting Annie's for more than 3 years, but won't be going back - pity, 'cause the food was good. What's the first thing they teach you in service industry schools? Win 1, loose 10.

For a local restaurant that gets little or no passing traffic, you'd expect to be welcomed on a quiet weeknight. Owner was rude and arrogant, inflexible and while I always seek to support local, I won't be going back!
