Armstrong Beach Caravan Park

We stayed with some friends for originally 2 nights in June but extended our stay by another night as we enjoyed it so much. This is a delightful little caravan park, right on the beach. The manager, Brendan, is very pleasant and helpful and there is a good deal of social life in the park if people want to participate. The majority of residents appeared to be there for around 3-4 months which they do each year but were very pleasant and my friend and I were invited to a morning tea which I gather happens quite regularly. The park is very clean as is the amenities block which I find very important in caravan parks. There is also a very well appointed camp kitchen which we did not use but saw many others using. The park is situated about 9kms from the Bruce Highway and from there 2kms into Sarina. Unfortunately there are no shops between the park and Sarina although the office sells essentials like bread and milk. A very pleasant stay

Older style park, great manager (Ed) keeps it immaculately clean, even going as far as to spray and wipe the inside of the washing machines. He was so helpful he even offered to help us pitch our tents. Lovely quiet spot but close enough to Sarina for essentials 10 mins drive. Perfect if you're into fishing. Dog friendly.
