Ascot Vale Leisure Centre

I love the AVLC! It has excellent facilities and it is really quite affordable for everything that you get there. There are also plenty of class times to chose from which is great as I can nearly always slot in a session.

Fantastic facility!!! I used the aquatics facilities with my family last week and my kids loved it. Clean pools, well monitored by happy friendly staff with a relaxed environment. At the time of our visit, I noticed a staff member cleaning out the Saunas and Steam Room which I've never seen at a Leisure facility before. Keep up the great work.

Good centre, a lot of equipment and the staff are mostly friendly and helpful. Opening hours are very good so it's easy to go at a time when it is not crowded, including the pool (usually Wednesday or later, when everyone's "diet and fitness regime" has lost steam). Speaking of steam I would ignore the review from one Mimi Jerez (above) regarding the sauna. I was there on the day in question and the only thing disgusting was her behaviour and treatment of the staff member asking to see a wrist band showing she was able to be in there. Swearing at someone over something so reasonable is a disgrace. Build a sauna in your own house and you can act slovenly and be as rude as you like. Otherwise show some respect to others. Just really unpleasant. Staff member handled it very well.

Second time I visit this center, and to bad experiences first I almost got kick out of the spa, because the person in the front office did not give me a band, and the second time I was in the spa nice and relax , when 2 staff members come and start cleaning the spa with a sponge , they were scraping the sides around it, and all the dirt they put it back in to the water were all the people in it and enjoying the spa, this was the most disgusting moment , don't they have to clean when the spa is empty, hygienic , not to good for such a good reputation , for the amount of money they charge they should be more considered , we are not animals .. , I just wondering should i ask the health department what is the presidia in this case???

Fabulous Facility, friendly staff, has the best timetable!!
