Ashanti Furniture and Design

After searching and searching we are so happy we have found this place ! We ordered a unique table and leather chair combo which is so unusual and like nothing we've seen before anywhere. When it arrived, it was just perfect - but the staff - they just were so friendly and nothing was too much hassle even when we were having a hard time deciding the best size for our dining area. We will hopefully be back very soon for our next piece ! Well, we couldn't help but go back again to Ashanti and we have just had the matching buffet to go witih our dining table delivered ! Brad & Tracy remembered us and even remembered which table & chairs we bought .... and that's something rare here on the coast where normally you go back to a place and they don't remember you from last time. They just got a new container in which is something we love as there is always something new & different rather than just the same things all the time.

Very disappointed with the after sales service. This business has never heard of "the customer is always right". We were very patient after waiting 10 months for our table after the first table arrived it was the wrong proportions and unstable. Never received follow up calls, we always had to phone to chase up. Then was told times it would be delivered, and never to receive a phone call again. Then being told by the owner that "Well if that's what you believe was said." Purchased 6 stools with the table, All but one was uneven and rocked. Purchased a bed as well that when arrived the slats did not fit and we had to have a handy man cut the centre board to fit. Then all the slats were extremely noisy that when you turned over at night it woke you up. One of slats broke within a week. the gap between the slats was also two wide so the mattress sagged on the ends. They almost redeemed the poor service by sending out a staff member to resolve the bed issue but unfortunately the poor service continued when the table finally arrived and was broken in the delivery truck. Overhearing the driver and the owner of Ashanti on the phone was embarrassing. The delivery driver ended up hanging up on the owner as he was copping abuse. Hard to believe they are still in business with such disgusting service. Got a refund for the table and stools. I have spent over $5000 with Ashanti over last 12 months but will never spend another dollar with them. I will never recommend them to anyone.

Cant stop talking about the Water Hyacinth outdoor longe suite I got from you guys. Will send you pictures of it in my Bali Hut ... looks awesome. The cheap price and the excellent quality as well as the fact that you customised my design and had it specially made completely blew my wife and me away. We get so many comments from our friends and visitors and spend all our weekends sitting in it. Thanks again for the fabulous furniture and the great service, we will be back to see you again and again each time we are on the Gold Coast, cheers Grant
