Athol Hall Function Centre

WOW! What an amazing place for a wedding venue. The views are amazing and the service was impecable. The food we had was cocktail style, but the quality was great. The only issue we had was that it was a hot day and there was no A/C. But apart from that would definitely recommend as a wedding reception venue.

I could not possibly say enough wonderful things about Athol Hall. We had our wedding there in December 2012 and the service was second to none. There was even a special staff member designated to clean our feet before the reception began so that in case there was any sand in our heels, our feet would not get sore!!! They really went above and beyond on every level. Our guests remarked on the quality and deliciousness of the food, the kindness and graciousness of the staff, the resident kookaburras, the stunning view which includes the Opera House and Harbour bridge, and the beautiful ambiance of this heritage listed building in the middle of the bush. It really is a special place and I could not recommend it highly enough.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding here in October 2012 and since had so much positive feedback from family and friends not only about the great venue and the view (best in Sydney honest!) but the quality of service from the staff and the deliciousness of all the items being served. We had a cocktail party as we wanted to allow our guests to be able to take advantage of the rolling hilll, wide wrap-around verandah and gazebo. Perfect! Everything was such a breeze with Sue and Suzie - totally recommend this venue for couples looking for a natural location and warm welcoming service. It's like being looked after by family.
