AvantiPlus North Brisbane

I took my bike in to Avanti Plus to see if they could fit a bashguard onto it. Not only did they say they can't fit it because they didn't have the proper tools, but they made me pay $50 for an hours labour... $50 bucks!! Frustrated, i paid it and took my bike out to Strathpines Bums on Bikes. There, they were able to fit it on in 20 mins, free of charge, because i told them what i'd balready been through that day. Avanti also told me I needed new forks and to buy them from their store. I asked Bums on Bikes (who seemed alot more professional) and they said my forks were fine. Seals and all. Avanti Plus IS A SHOCKING STORE. RIP OFF'S. SCAM ARTISTS. AFTER YOUR MONEY NOT YOUR SATISFACTION. IF I COULD GIVE NO STARS AT ALL I WOULD

I originally drove to this store as it had the best price for a bike I was looking for. I bought it, and since then I've been back a few times - the range and service is great. I drive past several bike shops to go to this store, and will continue to return as I like the service, and trust the helpful staff who are genuine cycling enthusiasts.

I went to Pro AM Avanti plus to look for a specific part, a derailleur hanger. To their credit, the staff seem to be helpful on the phone and always have stocks of this part. Also they were friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The part was more expensive than in some other shops though.
