I am always a massive fan of gelato, fan as in I have admiration for it and I'm not just keeping it cool. I have my favourite haunts but decided to come here and try this one in Leichhardt. I was amazed! It came in an actual plastic cup which is a bit retro in itself not like all the other gelato places posing with their "cups". I tried the pistachio and it was delicious! I would recommend this for a change to anyone who might be getting sick of the more well known gelato places in Sydney (pfft as if we'll ever get sick of any one cream, still it'd good to try something different.) #bestandfattest

Have been here a few times, and always ordered the chilli prawn pasta and the tiramisu! The place isn't too fancy, but it's great for a casual catchup with friends or family.

Omg loooove this place. they have the most amazing ice cream service is exceptional i love how the original family owners are still in contact with the business as they are family friends of mine the only downfall is their lack of seating. the arrangement of tables is a little over the shop and missmatched

Bar Italia is great, it has been a regular of mine for in excess of 10 years. I love the casual approach to dining in the heart of Lygon St. I took my two children there and they were well looked after. The prices are very good, the pasta is great and the gelato fantastic.

This is classic and has been there forever. Cash only and queuing. No soy, goat, skim milk just full fat. Excellent deserts and great gelato. Good for all, families, couples, groups or solo. Order what you want when you want and stay for as long as you like. Sit outside, inside or out the in the garden. Something for everyone,
