Barcoo Hotel

We camped in our motorhome out the back of the hotel and really enjoyed it. The site was on grass with power and water and the facilities are nearby, just through a lovely tropical garden. The toilets downstairs are fairly average, but the ladies showersr upstairs are lovely. The hotel is on the main street so everything is very handy but it is quiet (and we camped here over a weekend). The price is very reasonable - $20 for the first night, then $15 a night or $90 for a week. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. There is plenty to do in Blackall - a swim in the artesian pool, a great tour at the Wool Scour and great sculptures around town were our favourites.
