I bought an SS auto from Oldfield Capalaba back in 2011. The man I dealt with was George - a true gentleman in every sense of the word and a straight-shooter when it comes to 'getting down to things'. George has also assisted me with a few after sales niggles - always with a smile and always with genuine care and concern. Thank you George, you have my respect. Perhaps I've been a bit hard when you read what I have to say next because I'm sure that where it mattered a true effort was in fact made. But why take the time to comment if you are not prepared to tell it the way it is or was. I've had my SS back now five times in all for computer related issues involving sensors. The first four times the car was actually 'disabled' and had nowhere to go but straight back to the dealership - immediately. On each occasion I returned to the service desk I was treated, by the young ladies employed there, quite off-handedly and on one occasion was told I could book the car in for them to have a look at 'in a few days time'. I was left without a vehicle on each occasion having been told that the courtesy car was booked out almost a month in advance. After the fourth time I'm sure you can appreciate why I demanded to deal with the service manager direct, John. It was only then that I received the service and attention commensurate with the issue I kept re-presenting with. John is a very obliging man, but looks to me to be way too busy to be able to 'take up the slack' of those working the service desk at the time I had these issues. I have of course had a similar issue again - the fifth time. This leaves me with little confidence in the car. I am certainly wary of taking it away on a long trip anywhere because there are no guarantees. I do honestly believe that Oldfield Capalaba, compared to a lot of other Holden Dealerships, are a good dealership and can be at the top of their game. With respect to the three tick and flick criteria I would have liked to have been able to tick excellent for all three but sadly this has not been the case for me. Sure, my problems have, for the time being at least, been addressed, but I think having endured what I have in the first place with the five breakdowns and then the manner in which they were initially all treated, being totally honest I need to tick and flick as I have and hope big improvements in the future. Would I buy again from Oldfield Capalaba? Yes, provided I was dealing with George. Would I buy another Holden? Yes, but I think I would be investigating on-board computer systems and extended warranties much more thoroughly. Do I have faith in Oldfield Capalaba servicing? Sorry - No! How can I possibly say anything else.

I purchased a Ex-Demo from OLDFIELD HOLDEN CAPABALA Queensland in January 2013, and I have nothing praises for them - especially Salesman "NIGEL" and Financial Manager "MARNIE" they were exceptial with everything and it made a pleasure to deal with them and I know I have made the right choice. I can highly recommend them to anyone who is thinking of buying a motor vehicle... Keep the great work going - and I will be going back to them when I purchase another vehicle for my business.
