Interacted with them 3 times: 1. Over the phone to book the pick-up appointment 2. Picking up the car 3. Dropping off the car. On all occasions they were very friendly. Not sure if they received bad reviews because they were previously bad at their customer service.

I really wanted to write a positive review. The car was clean, tidy, new and a good price. My stars are for the CAR only. I have, however, a real problem with the customer service. After reading the reviews, i can see that i am not alone and this is disappointing. How about answering the phone with 'hello, bayswater car rental' instead of "hold on". I could do this job for you!!

This was the worst car rental company I have ever dealt with. Customer service is non existent. Staff were not helpful - over the phone or at the counter - or even when returning the car. I should have went to the "big guys" as previous reviewer's had stated .. you MAY pay more... but at least you get a smile FFS.

I cant believe what people put in these reviews! Some one "digged" up some poor reviews! Well they would be worth listening to, as they have a great grasp of grammer dont they. We booked online and got EXACTLY what we paid for with NO extras. We even had a lady back into the car during the rental period and due to the fact we took out the extra insurance cover, we only had to pay the first $50.00. Which we were reimbursed by the lady who damaged the car. Unlike some of the ungratefull people below we did not expect a red carpet, free wifi, or Rolls Royces! We got exactly what we were expecting, a late model car, in good condition at a great price. After all we wanted to rent the car not buy it!! We have rented cars from these people several times and find the service fantastic. I would suggest to the poor miserable who have nothing better to do than bag people on review sites to either pay the top dollar that the big companies want or do some social work in a hospital or the like to get a reallity check and have an idea about the world. I can just imagine some of these "would bes" still live at mums and she picks up thier clothes off the floor for them. In defence of the staff i could only imagine that dealing with people like these below would make anybody unhappy. My advice to the staff is to smile back at them, as it puts them off. Dont drag youselves down to thier level. The only problem i have with this firm is lack of a late pick up facility, other places i use have the keys available through locked, coded safe boxes. This would be really helpfull. Thier after hours drop off system works fine, we just need to get a car late sometimes. Other than that well done Bayswater

Absolutely poor service. The staff have no idea what they are doing. When asked any question they cant be bothered answering they either leave you on hold and expect you to hang up. Other times they cant be bothered and hang up. Absolutely poor. i have never come accross such poor service. Bayswatercarrental Sydney... Shameful... absolutely shameful....
