Certainly one of the best meals I have had in Australia, and possibly the world. We dined here for our wedding dinner, a small group of 5, and through the booking and menu preparation process they were nothing short of spectacular. They decorated the table for us prior to our arrival, and then provided us with platter after platter to share of delicious, locally caught fish. The baramuni was superb, the best fish I have ever had. The only real downside of this place might be the decor. The table and chairs are plastic (we did have white cotton table cloths so they weren't visible). We asked the owners and they said that Beach Almond was born as a cafe concept that evolved into a restaurant given the great success of the food. They are currently expanding so will have a larger, more plush dining experience shortly. If you are in Palm Cove, I totally suggest you go here. I am yet to try their chilli mud crab, but I am told it is devine. One for our next visit for sure!
