Beach Byron Bay

What an amazing location, service, food and experience. The Gold Coast is our home town and living in Dubai we really appreciate all things Australian. This cafe and Byron are what makes Australia amazing. Thanks team, I highly recommend this Cafe to anybody and everybody who goes to Byron.

Went to the Byron Beach Cafe for a wedding reception and it was absolutely wonderful. The place was gorgeously decked out, the food was delicious and the layout of the cafe meant that there was ample space for a dancefloor that didn't intrude on the guests still at the tables. The staff on the night were friendly and obliging, which helped to make the whole event go off without a hitch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reception or party venue in Byron.

I went to the Byron Beach Cafe kiosk today and I'm appaulled at how rudely I was spoken to by the woman who served me. I was overcharged for a babycino, she charged me for a cappucino, and when I dared to querie the amount I had just paid for the 2 flat whites (which also seemed expensive) I was told "I'll talk really slowly so you understand me". Is this really what I'm paying good money for when I can easily walk up the street to the Top Shop where the coffee is better, I'm not overcharged with no apology, the music is better, and I'm actually not treated like the scum of the earth?

Byron Beach Cafe is only moments from Main Beach which for me was definitely a huge thumbs up. It can get a little crazy as it's located on the main road of Byron Bay but it's great for people watching. We'd ordered a few takeaway coffees so decided to try dinner one night. Service was hit and miss and we waited way too long (over 45 minutes) for a very average not to mention pricey hamburger and a very bland salad that seemed to consist mainly of lettuce. Going back to the service, after asking one of the waitstaff where our food was as we'd been waiting a while, she agreed to check with the kitchen straight away. That she did, however never bothered to report back to us with where our meals were and walked past our table a number of times and completely ignored us. We were really dissatisfied so we left straight after our meal, however my partner hardly touched his. No one bothered asking if anything was wrong. For the rest of the night I suffered the worst indigestion of all time and threw back a few Zantac to ease the discomfort. This was the most disappointing dining experience during our week-long holiday in Byron Bay. Safe to say I will not be recommending anyone to dine at the Byron Beach Cafe as there are so many other places in Byron who offer better customer service, more reasonable prices and quality food.
