TL;DR: The Belgium Beer Cafe has a great atmosphere hampered by insufficient staffing and overpriced food. Make no mistakes: Even though it's described as a Cafe, this is a bar first and foremost. The Restaurant portion is right next to the drinking area, and the beer garden is off to one side. The noise levels are bar noise levels, so don't expect a quiet meal. Or a cheap one. While the food at the Belgium Beer Cafe Brussles is acceptable, it's neither well priced or interesting. This is home-style food at city restaurant prices. Chips are $9, for instance. There's a fair amount of mussels on the menu and most of the rest of it is unmemorable. The beer and atmosphere are great. Belgium beer, from the tap, served in the Belgium style. Lots of different tap beers, even more bottle beers, and the only problem is the difficulty knowing what tastes like what, as there aren't any obvious beer menus. The place has a fun vibe, although it occasionally fills with suits. I thoroughly recommend it as a place to go for Belgium Beer and a fun atmosphere, as long as people in your party aren't liable to whinge about the cost.

Beer was great although expensive atmosphere was great, customer service was average in the bar and very poor in the restaurant. Waitress was rude and acted 'snobby' had a table of 4 however 1 didn't like anything on the restaurant menu and wanted something off the bar menu we were told this wasn't allowed then when ordering a duck salad the waitress snapped that it was only an entree and was rather stuck up, menus in another language and staff seemed annoyed when asking what the meals were. not a busy day there only one other table and less then 5 other people in the bar, customer service people. will not be back.
