Belmore Veterinary Hospital

I took my kitten here last week and the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I highly recommend taking your pet here. I will be using this vet for as long as I live in the area.

Belmore vet is actually under new management... the vet and staff is actually really amazing now

They are very professional bunch of people who took very good care of my little munchkin cat. They saw me outside of hours due to my concern with my kitten and made him feel calm the whole time. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in the area.

I've got 2 dogs. One Pug and one Maltese Shih Tzu. We took them both to this vet today, the maltese for a hair cut and the pug to be desexed. When we got there we found that for some UNKNOWN REASON that even the vet and the vet nurse could NOT EXPLAIN that our Maltese had been SEDATED - TO BE TRIMMED! Over 4 hours ago and was still UNABLE TO MOVE HER HEAD OR EVEN STAND UP. Now I'm not sure why, when we are able to get our dog trimmed ANYWHERE ELSE with no problem at all that these people - The people who are MEANT to be able to handle animals better than anybody else, had to sedate a TINY DOG to near unconscious, just to trim her hair. The doctor had to give her another shot to snap her out of it and even now, half an hour after she got the shot, she is still unable to move at all except for shaking uncontrollably. I am very upset by this and was very unhappy with the vets explanation that "She'll be fine"
