Belongil Bistro

If I could give this place 0 stars I would have. I usually don't do reviews but I had to as a result of my breakfast experience in August 2013. We waited for over 10mins for coffee & asked the waiter how long it would be, with a apathetic response of "I'll check". We then waited a further 5mins whilst other people around us who had arrived later were getting their orders inc smoothies which take longer than a standard flat white & lattè. We asked again this time with quite an emotive response of "what is your rush buddy?" to which I responded that we wanted to get on & had waited over 15mins for a coffee. If there are delays then just simply relay this to your customers. Don't question their motives for receiving something which they are paying for - inc a service - and then react in such a terse & agitated manner. Obviously this chap wasn't meant to be in the hospitality trade. As for the food; pretty standard with some gluten bread thrown in to the mix. This all day bistro looks inviting on the outside but don't be surprised if you are on the receiving end of some substandard service & mediocre food. I hear there are some nice workers in there but I didn't meet any. Save yourself the trouble & go next door the the awesome spot that is the Treehouse.
