Pretty standard Australian Chinese restaurant, food was pretty greasy and poor quality, definitely not very good value for the price

My bf and me went to this restaurant. We ordered Thai stir fry and sweet sour pork. But we would like to call them as 'Thai sour fry' and 'sour sour pork'. The taste was horrible, the worst ever. We had stomach-ache later even though we left almost all the dishes. Indeed, worst food gallery.

My partner and I wanted to try something different, so we thought this place was going to be something special.... boy it was!. My partner ordered some dishes and after approximately 15 minutes or so later, she started experiencing some swallowing issues with something she ate. We had ordered a dish that contained chilly, some bamboo shoots, shredded pork mince with sauce and some rice. She attempted to swallow the foreign object down her throat, but didn't work; I was really worried; then she tried to throw up. The end result, was that they ended up charging us $26 for the meal and I thought this was down right insulting. The Chinese lady with the glasses tried to claim that my partner probably was suffering from stress from work that caused it. I don't think so, she and I are very particular in what we eat. Anyway; we're not going back to this place again and my recommendation is check what you're eating if you decide to go to this place. We're going to go to the Food Safety board and complain.

Ok this restaurant is quite clean in term of hygene, serve size is ok, it all comes down to the taste. I have eaten here quite a few times experimenting with the menu however i found that becuase its a "Canton chinese" reastaurant, they seem to put sugar in every dish, regardless of if its salty or spicy you can always taste sugar, i mean if u like sugar then this is for you but for me i preffer strong taste like "sichuan" style etc so wont be goign there again only because of my personal preference. but have to give this guys credit for their good customer service, ocassionally there is a couple of nice looking waitressess too...
