I took my daughter in to use a "deal" I got off the internet. What was supposed to be a bit of a treat for her after a particularly hard emotional year for our family turned into a lesson in life and poor service. It was an uncomfortable experience from the word go. Firstly she was berated for not being at school when I made a joke about it (it was a 1pm appnt, the only one I could get for foils as it takes a while), secondly chastised (or lectured, take your pick) about her choice of hair colour (we were told quite forthrightly she was only 13 and she would not be doing hair that made her look older than she is. Uum..whose decision was that excuse me?). Needless to say I felt myself justifying why we were there and why she wanted foils in her hair. My daughter started to cry she was so abrupt and plain lacking any kind of customer service. I would have left right then but my daughter desperately wanted to get her hair done as I'd been unable to do it for months. She calmed down a little after she made my daughter cry but I was completely offended that I was paying for a service and spoken to like that. I should not have to justify my decisions and reasons for my daughter to be having her hair done at 1pm in the afternoon. I'm not sure if she meant to be so rude and abrupt but I won't be returning here again. First hair cut for 6 months for a young girl who needed some TLC and she end up in tears? No thanks. No deal is worth that.

In the two occasions in which I have had contact with this business I have been left feeling very uncomfortable and unwelcome. The staff member, who seemed to be the person in charge, was very rude and impatient and had no sense of the concept of customer service. I will never return there because of this and would highly recommend avoiding this place if you wish to be treated with respect

Had THE worst experience with customer service, told michelle how I would like my hair, and she made me feel like an idiot for wanting to have my hair coloured, saying it will fall out and she doesn't want to take responsibility for it(meanwhile I was told I needed to go over it a couple of times for the colour to come out the colour that I wanted, at this stage it was copper and I wanted it blonde) It was only the third time in 4 months. I asked her what she suggested, and she said I will only do your roots and you will just have to grow it out, so really I had to be unhappy with the colour for a couple of years!!! Yeah right, what hairdresser tells you that. She made me feel so uncomfortable even after I had made the decision to just give it a try, I even told her that I felt uncomfortable and if she didn't want to do my hair maybe someone else does, and then she just bickered at me. I thought I was coming in to treat myself on valentines day as I didn't have a valentine and instead I was being made feel like a fool...luckily I still went ahead with my decision cos the colour turned out exactly how I wanted it, and HAS NOT FALLEN OUT!!!! If I had left it up to her "expertise" I would still hate the colour of my hair. She was also gloating about how good a hairdresser she is and I even had to cut random stragly bits of hair off after the cut, and it's still not even. Sorry Beyond Beauty but I will not be coming back, and I have told a lot of people about my TERRIBLE experience.
