Bike Sales On Albert

I have now purchased 3 bikes from Bike Sales on Albert. Their service and willingness to sell at the most competitive price is outstanding. Staff are quick to help, they're polite, and understand your budget limitations. I've made the drive from Toowoomba each time because of the quality service. Thanks Matt and team.

Bought a bike here after having compared a few different shops. The difference was the helpfulness of the staff here - they were knowledgeable and provided options at different price points for comparison when I was deciding which bike to buy. There was no heavy-sell or pressure to buy, and they spent a lot of time fitting the bike after I decided on one. I have, and would continue to, recommend them.

I needed a new brake pad (disc brake) for my bike. I work in the city and this is the only bike store in the CBD. I called them in the morning on Wednesday and the person I spoke to said yep no worries, can do, bring it in at lunch time and we'll sort it for you. I took my bike in during my lunch time and surprise! no they don't have the brake pads and perhaps they'll have them tomorrow, just give them a call tomorrow. I wasted my 30 min lunch break for this bad experience. I sent them an email expressing my frustration as I don't have much time and they did advise me it would be fine. I got no response to my polite email. So ok, I chalk it down to being a bit of bad luck and call them today as they said just to be told oh no we don't have the right pads and maybe we'll have them next week, who knows? Well I'm annoyed and unimpressed. Business must obviously be good for these guys if they don't feel they need to provide decent customer service. You've lost my business.

Good prices. I was going to buy a bike second hand for $300, but then noticed it was on sale (new) for $350 at Bike Sales down from $700. Went in and had a look, and they let me ride it around the botanical gardens. No problems with service. So overall pretty good.
