Fresh, fantastic food that is delivered with style! We asked for recommendations and ended up having a fantastic vegetarian-friendly feast. It's a bit cramped and loud, but it adds to the vibe. A very enjoyable dinner.

The food is incredible, when i first went to this place with mum i hated having to line up, and how busy and crowded it felt. BUT it was worth its while by a mile (rhymes); the food was mouth watering and in fact life changing. I have never tasted things that are so good!!! Since then i still haven't tasted anything that matched how good it was.

The reservation system at BK's or lack of it makes it difficult to plan to far ahead. You can either queue for the early evening seating at 6pm or queue for the later seating at 8pm as Billy Kwong's, quite famously, only does a couple of tables of reservations per seating with the rest of the tables free for walk ins, or in the case of Billy Kwong's Queue ups. Once inside the restaurant the interior is reminiscent of a traditional style eating house with a compact buzzing open kitchen and small tables packed in tightly together. Not ideal for family dining, Bks is great for couples and very small groups. What shines at BKs is the food, with Chef and owner Kylie Kwong specialising in modern and traditional Chinese cuisine using local, organic, sustainable and bio-dynamic food. You have to try the duck and the free range chicken is worthy of a mention as well. On the night I went there was a wallaby special with Kylie liking to rock out Australian natives, all sustainable of course. The prices are in the higher bracket, with a 2 courses plus wine for 2 people setting us back $195, but thanks to the delicious duck... I will be returning.

Food is amazing and really nice. No reservations can be made but get there early. The duck is so amazing, full of flavour. Tables are sort of smallish - I never understand restaurants where the plates are so massive that any more than 3 plates on a table - you wont be able to add more plates - really stupid idea. For 4 of us we had to give a plate back because there was no where to put it. Apart from that the food is really nice and well worth a visit.

What a fantastic evening! I went to Billy Kwongs with six other girls, and the round table provided perfect dynamics for an evening of great food, wine and company. The waiter was extremely helpful in describing the signature dishes and suggested quantity for our table - 4 entrees and 3 mains, with servings for everyone in each dish. The highlight was the cricket & prawn wonton for the pure 'exoticness' of it - the crickets added a little crunch to this delicious entree. Other highlights were the crispy duck & sang choi bow - the entrees were definitely more exciting than the mains. Dessert was disappointing - poached pears in red wine - so we decided to head elsewhere. The service was fantastic, with very knowledgable, helpful waiters who took our coats at the door. I'll be back.
