Blanc Bistro & Grill

Went to the Blanc last night with my partner, had a terrible experience. I asked for my steak to be well-done and it came out on the plate medium rare. Then I had to wait a further 10 minutes while they cooked my steak some more, and watch my partner eat his dinner first. Never mind that the fish he had ordered was overcooked. They offered me a free complimentary drink, so I requested a Southern Comfort and Coke. They came back with a straight coke without telling me that they had 'run out' of Southern Comfort until I asked why the drink only tasted like straight coke. Every other beverage I requested after that seemed to be out of stock too. Overall a very poor experience. I am never going back to this restaurant. I think it may have changed owners, because the last time I went I had a wonderful experience.

Coffee was tepid and weak. Cakes were dried out. They turned the music up so loud that we would leave, waitress came and took our plates before we had finished eating, saying are you finished with that? We felt unwelcome even tho it was only 9.30pm
