Buyer Beware! Denis owns Central Coast, Newcastle and North Coast franchises - how this business is surviving can only be explained by the fact that they are all talk - no action. Sales process with John H seemed lovely - but before you sign make sure you understand every single little word & have every detail covered - even then you will be amazed at how many things can still go wrong with a 'fixed price pool' (no such thing!). Eg yes laying of pavers is covered, no not the cost of pavers (fair enough we can handle that) - but when it comes to laying - you will be charged extra for every single little cut. Don't buy your pavers from them even if you seem to be shackled to their specific coping size - you will find pavers at least 50% cheaper elsewhere. Don't be fooled by the confident reassurances of the pool sketch in your contract - "as the details are covered when the formal plans are done" - rubbish!! Any time you question anything - that contract will be pulled out and formal T&Cs will be given in short, curt and in a very non-customer service way. We signed our contract in October, and excavation started in November for a simple 7x3.5m concrete pool - how can it almost be May and there is still no indication of when this project will be finished. (Up until now, we have paid every progress payment within 24hrs). But now we are waiting for our pipes to be laid for the 3rd time as they don't seem to understand that pipes need to be laid underground, side-by-side and not exposed - laziness!! Project manager Brian comes across as a 'nice guy' at first, but he is really a passive agressive who does not listen, does not turn up for appointments - that even he himself arranged!! And can't manage the common courtesy of a phonecall to advise us (the waiting customer) that he wont be turning up. Lots of no shows - just wait for the 'Blue Haven excuse'.....car broke down!! (Again...Really?!?! And what happened to that courtesy phonecall??) And whats up with their office organisation & lead management, when our pool light "is still on a freighter from China" - we signed for this 6mths ago! Ask around and you will be shocked at the reputation this business has - if only we had known all this before signing with these jokers.
