Bluebell Retreat

This is an exceptional option for a stay on Lake Macquarie. Five minutes from Swansea, the home is on the lakefront, with full view of the lake and a quick walk down to the jetty. The host is very friendly and helpful. The house is a modern two bedroom with a a study that is easily converted to another bedroom - comfortably sleeping 6 if necessary (we had two couples in the two large bedrooms). It has two covered outdoor decks facing the lake, with BBQ and furniture. There is a main bathroom and an ensuite, laundry and garage (all very well equipped). The house has floor ducted air con, which was very nice on a hot, blustery day, ceiling fans in the bedrooms and plenty of heating for any cooler nights. The host has provided everything for a comfortable stay - very well equipped kitchen, a wide variety of reading material to relax with, and even two kayaks to use on the lake. We also appreciated the bottle of wine on arrival. Checking in and out of the house was very simple and communication excellent. i would highly recommend this home for a longer stay - two days wasn't long enough for us and we could have settled in.
