It's a little on the expensive side for a simple breakfast, but has consistently good food to make up for it. It's always busy, and popular with both locals and tourists. Ask for the bacon and egg roll which isn't on the menu, but they'll do it for you anyway. Dog friendly!

Bluewater is fantastic - one of the better cafes on the waterfront strip in Manly. The staff are attentive and the coffee is decent. It's priced around the same as the other cafes in Manly, so not cheap but you do get nice quality food. They open for dinner as well as breakfast and lunch, although make sure you don't turn up when the kitchen is on the changeover between mealtimes as they stop serving food for an hour or two in that time.

Myself and a few others decided to walk along the shore at Manly on a Saturday night looking for a place to stop and have dinner. The place we were originally going to dine at had a one hour wait for a table, so we went just a few doors away to the Bluewater Cafe, and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were probably some of the friendliest and genuine people I have come across in a long time serving at a restaurant. This was amazing in itself as more often than not I get the impression from servers that they really do not want to be wherever it is that they are working. One of our party was unable to eat garlic, and the staff were very accommodating to her needs both within and without of the kitchen. The meals were expensive for the portions, but I understand that one must pay for the location, even though it was night-time and you could not actually see the beach or the water. I had a gnocchi that was reasonably priced and was quite generously portioned, whereas my dinner companions ordered fish dishes that were more expensive and were quite small portions. Overall the food was pretty good. Not so amazing that I'd rave about it to everyone, but still quite a good meal. The bathrooms were... odd, tiny rooms with the urinals positioned strangely so that, if you're not prepared when you walk in, you're likely to get a face full of genitals because the first urinal (and there are only two) is right next to the door as you enter. Just a heads up. Overall I was pretty impressed by the whole experience. Had the staff not been as friendly and accommodating I might have struggled to give it 4 stars based solely on the food, but for me, friendly staff can make all the difference.

The food here was awesome and surprisingly so was the coffee. I had the goat cheese and caramelised onion tart, sooo good. It was slightly touristy due to the location so the prices were kind of high, which I expected they would be. However it was overall a good lunch, I would recommend!
