Boreen Point Campground

We stayed at Boreen Point a while ago and found the spot to be very relaxing and quiet. The facilities were clean and there was a general store within walking distance from the site. We were travelling with a small dog and were allowed him in the park, they are trialling a dog friendly facility to see how it goes, all in all, a great spot for a few nights or longer.

We stayed at Boreen Point for the school holidays in September/October. Its a case of park the car and walk around to find a good spot. We recommend you get there about 9-10am to grab a spot as someone is leaving as it got quite tight for space. The facilities are well maintained and clean. Good hot showers with decent pressure. Although the caretakers were polite, I didn't find them extremely helpful. The kids loved it. There is a big track and skate park so DO NOT leave the kids bikes at home, you will regret it!. The lake is shallow and very safe for the kids. Most campers were quite and in bed at a reasonable hour. Overall, we enjoyed it and will certainly be back. But watch what time you arrive to get a good spot.

Do not go !!!!!! so fair the worest camping trip EVER!!!!!!!! the camp ground its self was poor and and is very easy to flooding,the rods on the camp site hade big gaping pot holes,there isent much space and the toletes where perthetic a forget about doing BBQs the is only one bbq sheard between the whole camp site, althought the camp is close to the river but its a little to close your more then likly to find ur self waking up to a tent full of water becouse the is no sea wall of eny kind of mass to stop the tide from coming in. and the biggest thing was the owners of the camp site where very roud and uninviting, and thay charge way to much for basicly nuthing. iv been to alot of these camping area's and so fair this would have to be the worest. and the picturs u see on the web site are not what it looks like at all

Boreen Point camping ground has all the facilities you need for a weekend away. All the facilities are new and clean, the camping ground is situated in national Park area, you can take a canoe and have fun in the lake in front of you...and so close to Noosa... One of my favourites spots!

This map shows the camp ground on the Noosa North Shore which is incorrect. The camp ground is in Boreen point. There is no rd called the esplanade on the North Shore
