Bridgefield Guest House

I would recommend staying at Bridgefield, especially considering the location. We stayed in The Cabin and it was great for 3 people - very comfortable. I wish I could rate Bridgefield seperate to Nathalie's Cuisine - they advertised an Indian Buffet for $30 per person. They then brought a few set (rather limited) dishes to our table, and so ended the dinner... If you want more food, pay for it. We requested more rice and discovered they had no more left. In what WORLD is that a buffet?!? When booking our accommodation online we saw the picture of the breakfast had big shiny serving trays lining the wall. Not once have I seen those used, I think they're for display. The breakfast served to guests is cold only (cereal, toast, fruit). Be prepared to pay $20 if you want something hot. Rating: Nathalie's Cuisine - 1/5. Bridgefield - 4/5. Suggestion: Stay here - pay $13 at the nearby Bakery for a cooked breakfast :).

We stayed here on March 6-8, 2010. We stayed in the Merlot room which was quite comfortable and charming. The proprietor is very nice and helpful. The location is perfect, right along the main road just a few blocks from food and wineries. The continental breakfast at Natalie's cafe (part of Bridgefield) was very good and included in our stay. The free wifi was slow, but good enough. Definitely would stay there again. Good price.
