Brisbane Airport, 11 The Circuit, Brisbane Airport

I guess people give this airport a 4 start must have not been to other airports. International airport is ok compare to Fiji but the domestic airport is out of this planet. Not enough signs and misleading signs. It is just like an exploration especially when you tried to go to the public pick up area. The signs disappeared after walking for 10 minutes, then you have to guess where to continue your adventure.I just could not imagine how can people created such an inefficient place.

Parking is expensive and illogical, $6 for 30 minutes and $14 for 30 mins to 1 hour means you cannot wait for a late plane and have to leave the park and come back. Totally daft. How do you get to the airport without going through a toll - going through is easy, paying the charge is a nightmare of telephone delays and weird web sites. Come on Australia find a better way for non-residents!!!

Plenty of power outlets scattered around which is useful for a quick charge before jumping on your flight, but the lack of wifi is a major annoyance. Depending on where you were, it used to be possible to pick up the signal from the airline lounges, but Virgin has recently implemented a daily password that makes this much more difficult unless you're actually in the lounge.

Visited 3 times in 2013, once for internal flights from Sydney, then a week later to Cairns then a month later international to Hong Kong. Both times we were impressed with facilities and cleanliness. Security and immigration was quick and pleasant

Yesterday afternoon was nightmarish getting into Bris from Melb.Our Tiger Flight due to depart Tulla at 5pm was delayed more than 2 hours on the ground because of the prior delay by Brisbane Air Traffic control on the arriving flight. then we circled at least twice( saw the Gold Coast twice last night from the air)- so the flight took another 6o minutes than scheduled, then finally our bay was not ready to receive us so we were imprisoned on the tarmac for another 15 minutes. 7 hours it took ( could I have done it overland in the same time? probably not- but still!) Does the BAc discriminate against Tiger passengers?Are they given lowest priority by BAc? -it seems so! Tiger passengers are still paying bigtime into your coffers for parking - so it may be shortsighted of the Corporation to discriminate in this way!
