British India Indian Restaurant

Not the best place but definitely not the worst place . The meal size was good. They left you aloneto eat wiitch was nice. But they took the additional cutlery away before the first course and didn't replace afterr the first course. They got the order confused with another table.

An excellent meal and evening. I recently had dinner at British India with my family for my birthday. We ordered Banquet #1, a three-course meal designed for 6+ people. There were only 5 of us and we were told that the banquet would cost us $40 per person rather than $37 per person, though when the bill came we found that they had charged us $37 each! Every single dish was absolutely delicious, the decor was gorgeous and the service was impeccable. When we finished a dish we were offered more, and it was so delicious we just couldn't say no! There was nothing I could fault through the entire night, definitely one of the best Indian meals I've ever had, and brilliant service. Go to British India - you will not regret it.

I've always enjoyed the food and service at British India, never left unsatisfied. Fabulous interior design, love the combination of British and Indian decor. I am an ongoing customer and will always recommend this restaurant. Try the Rojan Josh and ask for it to be extra extra hot! Wild night :)

If you like terrible service, awful atmosphere and borderline inedible Indian food, this is the place for you. I have eaten Indian food on 4 continents, and this is by far the worst I've ever had. Which I guess is an accomplishment of sorts. Congratulations, British India Restaurant! Do you dread having a conversation with your dinner companion(s)? Don't worry, the awful music and hard surfaces of the floor, walls and ceiling will make talking nearly impossible. My wife practically had to yell how bad her dish was. Not that the wait staff would admit to hearing it. For what it's worth I thought the decor was OK. And FYI, they are BYOB but will charge a $15 corking fee. That is, if you manage to get one of the server's attention and actually get your bill.

I don't usually rate Indian restaurants, but the food at British India was superb. Personally the beef tindaloo with eggplant raita was fantastic and close to the best Indian meal I've ever had. Highly recommended
