We enjoyed lunch at the brewery on our way down to Ballina with a deal from Scoopon. Fantastic value. The regular pricing is if you spend $10 at the bar (which is two schooners of beer) the meals are buy one get one free. Steak is $24 so two people can have a beer, steak, chips and salad each for $17 per person. The brewery features nice decor with booths, bar tables and stools and an outdoor seating area where live bands have a stage to perform. They have 6 of their on-premises brewed beers on tap, usually brewed that week or sooner. There is a wide variety of beer they brew to choose from. Dark ale, blonde, golden lager, pale ale, pilsener and a mid strength called "red belly". They also had a seasonal beer on my visit, a "dark white" European style beer. My recommendations for the beers are the pale ale, the red belly mid and dark ale if you are a beer drinker and the blonde if you find most beers a little too strong on the pallette. The other option is to get their 6 pot sampler for $15 and try each one to find your favourites. Overall, everything about Byron Bay Brewery is great. Prices are resonable or on par compared to other local restaurants and surf clubs and the staff are friendly and laid back. Add this one to your list for when friends and relatives ask, "where should we go?" when they come and visit. Recommend: beers (see above) and the apple and cinnamon donuts made fresh when you order. See photos also attached to this review.

Great place to just chill!!! Tasting paddle of their 6 signature beers is a great way to see what you like! My fave is the pale ale.
