Cafe Bondi

My local. I love this place for coffee, breakfast or lunch. The coffee is well made and has a nice touch of putting freshly grated chocolate on milky drinks rather than powdered cocoa. The menu is large, offering something for everyone, but the food is always tasty and well executed. In summer it can be hard to get a table outside at the weekend but it's worth waiting as it's a great place to people watch. My partner swears by the fettucine carbonara which they add chicken to for him as a special request every time (a bargain at $2). In winter months, they do special dinner deals as well, such a steak and a glass of wine for $15 on Wednesdays. Even in summer, it manages to feel like a local's joint. But even if you're not, it's a welcoming place to enjoy a lazy weekend meal

A nice place close to Bondi beach, Good salads, try the chicken salad! It is a relaxed place for travelers, and a perfect place to have a coffee and a chat.

After finishing breakfast at café bondi, the waiter had told us that other customers wanted to sit in the sun but no rush as we were finishing our coffees. two minutes later the group of customers came and started to sit around us or more on us....so we would move with the waiter putting fresh water glasses down in front of me and telling us to move. I have never received such poor service! I would not recommend Café Bondi to anyone!

Been there quite a few times with my girlfriend now, the food is always delicious (I have sampled a variety of their burgers) and value-wise it's about what one would expect from a resteraunt-cafe in the area. Staff have always been friendly and the decor of the place suits it very well.
