Cafe Maritana

On fairness we did not try the menu as we were planning to do so on another day, menu looks good. But we came in for a drink. A nice wine etc. The waitress said they could not serve alcohol without food. Therefore, we must order a dish. We ordered olives. We just were not hungry; and it was the afternoon. The waitress said it was their licence that states a patron must buy food at their establishment if they buy an alcoholic drink. That is fine. But, put it on your drink menu or your website and be clear as it made us feel uncomfortable. Also, the waitress was rude and said, I was helping myself! In a rude tone for getting a drink menu from an inside table. Shame as we would of definitely dined there, but not now.
