I quite enjoy the coffee in the restaurant. The dining ambiance was wonderful. Suitable for both the casual and formal dining.

A Melbourne style cafe in the heart of Surry Hills. Attentive service with good coffee (& a surprise complementary marzipan biscuit on the side - nice touch)

Can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. The wait staff were very knowledgeable about both wine and food, the prices medium-to-high (but worth every penny) and the food was absolutely divine. Being Italian it's pretty much impossible to leave without feeling utterly decadent, but hey isn't that part of the joy of life?

When Caffe Sicilia first opened it was fabulous, food, coffee service, but like most things in life it has dropped it's standards. Service poor, coffee luke warm, change of pasty chef and now awful...(this is new) they charge more for the cakes at lunch time but no signage noting this to the public, yet when you sit at lunchtime it is not full only a handful of people. I think they may be struggling in the financial climate now, because once I told friends to go there now I say give it a pass. It was their 3rd strike yesterday for bad everything - we shall not be frequenting their Caffe again. A shame really because it started so well. To be fair when they opened it was a refreshing delight - now a nightmare.!!

The best thing about Cafe Sicilia is the staff who are very Italian and charming. The food however disappoints. I've been twice, but haven't returned after having somewhat undercooked pasta.
