Cambridge Primary

My 3 children have all attended Cambridge Primary School and I have had an association with the school since 1996. I find the school very approachable and the staff extremely friendly. I have had no issues with staff or other students although there are obvioulsy disgruntled parents in any community that will try and bring down the good work of others. The school was given International Status some 9 years ago which is an extremely high complement given that the ranking is given by an International, independant board of assessors. The current Principle and her predecessor were/are great individuals who strive hard for the betterment of the school. I love Cambridge and beleive it is one of the better schools in the Wyndham area. If anyone disagrees with this view, please, feel free to drop by and have a coffee.

Cambridge Primary School is located amongst several new housing developments in Hoppers Crossing, in close proximity to a regional shopping centre. Opened in 1992 with an enrolment of 243 children, this number had more than doubled within two years, reflecting the movement of many young families into the area. By 1997, the student population had exceeded 760 children. Today we have again an increasing population currently at 660 children with as many as 55 different ethnic backgrounds. The school building's unique architecture, incorporating creative suggestions from local residents, offers outstanding resources for students, as well as the wider community.
