Warning: Do not support this store!! No back up customer service and incredibly bad attitude. I purchased a small Canon camera for my husband for Christmas from this store. Not being a big camera user, he has picked it up about 3 times since then and taken less than 50 photos in total. Yesterday, he went to use it and the shutter closure would not work. Wanting to get it sorted immediately, we returned to the store to get a new replacement camera. Our first experience was a shock. The sales assistant said " that must have been dropped!" Well, what exceptional customer service - accuse the customer! Actually the camera has not been dropped, but looked after with extreme care. Where do you go from there - into a stupid argument " it wasn't dropped"! Producing the receipt, we asked for a replacement or a refund only to be told that the owner could only make that decision and she/he was at a wedding. Why have a manager in the store then? It was a $140 camera for heaven's sake. We are heading back there to see the manager so will update this post when we see what he/she has to say face to face. In the meantime, we have learned a lesson that I am intent on passing onto as many people as I can. Hypercolour Camera House at Logan Hyperdome cannot be relied upon to offer the exceptional level of customer service that is essential to business survival in a competitive market. Update: Upon another visit to the store, the store manager on duty, Gail, was very helpful. She apologized for the accusation of the other team member and did her best to solve the issue. The camera was replaced.

If you prefer to be over charged and prefer horrible/ inaccurate customer service then this is the place to go. I inquired about the price of printing photos one day only to come back three days later to find that the price that the staff member told me was inaccurate and that if the manager decides to slag you with a fee he will do so. Also, they might say your photos are ready in 1hr. You come back in 1hr and they say its another 10-15minutes. Come back in 15mins and they say they haven't even printed them and it is another 10minute wait. Also they accused another customer that he came back in less than 1hr but infact he had returned 1hr 30mins after he originally put his photos in for print. You would expect higher professionalism and accurate pricing the first time not the next time you go back. Very disappointed.
