Camera House - Croydon

After attempting to purchase equipment through the large city stores and being told that we were rude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <-- trust me - we weren't. I went searching so a store that would good old fashioned customer service and I found it! Thank-you Nigel for getting the equipment I ordered in promptly, advising me of such and serving me with a smile. Thank-you! I will be back!

My wife had no ideas for my 70th birthday present. Not surprising as I always answer "nothing" when asked for suggestions. She and two friends settled on the idea of a "This is Your Life" photo album and she approached Scott at CCH for help with the format and restoration of some scratchy old prints. To cut a long story short, and after 4 visits to the store, 70 photos, (doubt whether that was a coincidence), were selected and reproduced resulting in the awesome pictorial record I have in front of me. In addition he supplied digital copies on a memory stick as a back-up. The service she received was beyond belief and shows us there is still good retail service out there. Awesome service - I bought a GoPro hero 2 there, and the lady that helped me had no idea what a GoPro was. Within 15min though, she was well into it and managed to sell me $550 worth of camera and accessories. Just bought 2 batteries for the camera too, and will be here quicker and faster than the official GoPro website can manage. Excellent service. Good service = $600+ and another customer!
