Castello's at Croydon

Thumbs down. Made a bistro booking for a specific time, was assured that they are open then. They weren't. The pokies were, maybe that counts as 'open'. They didn't even turn the bistro lights on until 10 minutes after our reservation time. The staff member on the beverage counter could not hold in her head an order for two coffees. (Um, der, what was that again?) Was charged a 15% 'public holiday surcharge' on Easter Saturday. The children's fish and chips meal had BONES in it. Oh, and the toblerone cheesecake was vile, even the children didn't like it. First time I had set foot in the place; I will never, EVER return. I'm sure you can guess what kind of recommendation I'll be giving the establishment.
