Be cautious when bying a property where the sellers are overseas. Takes forever for settlement.

My team at Century 21 prides itself on responding to queries as quickly as possible, and we have regularly been acknowledged for our excellent customer service We have been in constant regular dialogue with Ivy & Deon over these past few months attempting to finalise the bond....the owner carried out some maintenance following Ivy & Deons departure from the property and is seeking reimbursement prior to agreeing to release the bond funds....we have provided recommendations to the owner on this matter, however the owner working offshore for extended periods has caused abnormal delays.....it must be remembered that the bond funds cannot be released without the approval of both parties (tenants and owner). We recognise the frustration delays such as this can cause, and we will continue to work closely with Ivy & Deon to assist in an outcome being agreed by both parties...Kind Regards, Craig Balme, Principal & Licensee

I will never ever rent or sell anything through Century 21 Mandurah, as we are waiting for more than 4 months for our bond from them and I can not understand that they have this board outside their office saying they are the No 1 Realty, don't think that is true. Always have excuses when we email them or call them.............
