The seafood linguini was 10/ 10... worth the wait ;)

Had a mushroom soup and Cesar salad. The mushroom soup was creamy, flavoursome and they gave a huge bowl. The chicken pieces on the Cesar salad were huge as well and it tasted pretty good.

Having my dad and my brother visit us back in 2010, they ended up staying in a service apartment just right next to Crown... well within walking distance any way. And so as a thought, my partner and I accompanied both of them for a few days of their stay. My brother had a craving for pizza and my dad thought the same. So we decided to walk into Crown and see what they had on offer. Since we really didn't want to try the food court and wanted a restaurant, the only thing that came in view was this place. It stated that it served pizza. Well went in and the decor was probably more for a semi-quiet establishment for chit chat more so than eating. But we ordered any way. The pizza we ordered... well regardless of the toppings... it tasted like cardboard and just so bloody thin. What were we paying really? The service was crap as well. This is a place that you and your family should not go to, it is designed for singles and the non-family types to enjoy the passing of time. I wouldn't waste my time here again.... what a rip-off for pizza.

It's ok, nothing special but ok.

First taste of Melbourne food, nice but not extremely special. Very popular but don't do bookings on Saturdays. Staff are friendly and food service was fast. A little expensive but I guess that's Melbourne?
