Our Wedding cake was made by Mimi and it was beyond amazing. The cake not only looked fantastic it also tasted great and we had so many compliments from our guests. Mimi is a beautiful lady and very helpful. I would definitely recommended Classic Cakes to anyone wanting a beautiful cake for any occasion.

I have had my wedding cake made by Mimi and it was beyond this world, the prices are reasonable and the product is fantastic! Since then I have been to the shop several times for coffee and cake (the chocolate smell wafting onto the street is what drew us in) and the service and food have been great. I have to say that I too found Mimi a bit cold towards customers initially (it could be her air of sophistication, something which I experienced heaps in Switzerland as well), but hey when you get to know her she is very friendly and really.. Do you want a new friend or do you want a fantastic cake that everyone will remember, your choice :-)

I have visted Classic Cakes once per week for the last year. The owner and staff have always been friendly, good service and good fare. I suspect the other reviews are from a competitor or someone witha gripe against a person in the business.

I've been in the shop 3 times now and everytime the woman has been dismissive and plain rude. Not the way you should treat potential customers!!!! I will never go back to that shop and I will definitely not recommend it to any of my friends or family.
