My wife likes it here. I find the main dining area a little noisy, but the little deck on the side of the River is quiet. Food is hit or miss sometimes, but you need to choose wisely and you may hit a home run. Overall a good looking Café with a great vibe.

Have been to this cafe 4 times over the last 6 months and lately I am pleased to see the service has really improved. It used to be full of waitresses who were snobbish, cold and insincere, and now the waitresses seem to be a little more genuine. I had the quinoa salad and it was lovely. It would be great if this place was open a little later than 3pm as several times friends and I have been wanting a place for an afternoon coffee and this place would be perfect.

Just had lunch there with my daughter who is on a break from Exams. Beautiful setting, nice decor, nice garden, easy parking. All good until we ate. We were so looking forward to it. I was SO disappointed. Mango smoothie and chai tea was lovely but tea not very hot and a tiny little pot. It was 40 mins before we were served our food. We overheard a different waitress at another table explaining the special of the day but it was too late for us as we had already ordered from the menu which small, and not very imaginative. The special of the day sounded great and lots of others had ordered it and appeared to enjoy it. I wish I had known about it. Our food was boring, tasteless, lazily presented and really overpriced. The staff were noisy, and chaotic, clanging crockery and glass wear into trays so loudly it gave me a headache. We were seated in the corridor facing the garden. A nice table except for having to stare at a filthy bowl of soupy disgusting dirty dishwater where they threw dirty cutlery. We could actually smell the dirty water from where we sat. My Duck curry was like a bowl of watery thin insipid soup. The waiter even said as soon as he presented it to me., "oh - I think I am going to get you a little spoon for that". No money wasted on proper jasmine rice, just the regular short grain stuff, and badly cooked. It was presented on a wooden board which would have been quirky except it was dirty. A few pieces of fatty duck skin floating in the soup and a few soggy vegetables. I found and counted, three pieces of duck meat and two lychees. It was over $20. I was bitterly disappointed. My daughter ordered a cheese burger - hard to go wrong! Soggy fatty bacon barely even cooked. Cheese that was burned and had separated into a fatty brown bubbly mess. The patty was ok but the salad was soggy and covered in a sloppy Mayo! No home made relish, no nice bread,no nice salad. Not good enough. Presentation was very lazy. A burger for $17 should be pretty unique and memorable! The waitress asked how our meals were and I never complain but smiled and quietly and very politely told her that I was disappointed. I didn't make a fuss and I was not rude. She seemed to care and said she would let the chef know but then disappeared in a hurry leaving us sit there. After waiting for a bill which never came we approached the counter to pay, assuming that is what was expected. As we stood there waiting for one of the many staff behind the counter to notice we were trying to pay,we both heard and saw our waitress mimicking me and making fun of me as she was chatting to the chef. Sorry guys. Big mistake. I will not only NEVER come back but I will tell every single person I know.

Visited this cafe for breakfast on Valentines Day 2013 & was disappointed by the food. I had been there a few times in 2012 & found the breakfast delicious but we were not impressed by the new menu. I tryed the poached eggs on corn fritter with smoked salmon and the best part was the smoked salmon. The coffee was good and the service average. Not as good as it used to be :(
