Outstanding. My wife and I went there on July 23 as no fans of degustation menus but we were very impressed. The food was fantastic, the ambience of the restaurant excellent and the service was first class. The next time we visit Canberra we will be making a beeline back to Courgette and in the meantime we are telling everyone we know not to miss the great dining experience at this restaurant whenever they are in Canberra. This is one of the best restaurants in Australia.

Consistently the best restaurant in Canberra. Courgette could be located anywhere in the world - Paris, London, New York or Tokyo. We are lucky to have such a wonderful place to dine in Canberra. Great food for me means not only well presented but tasty, unique and satisfying. It's amazing that you can get a booking reasonably easily (a week ahead). Usually places like this are booked months or years ahead. Just another great feature of Canberra's accessibility .... Well done Courgette.

Certainly lives up to its reputation as one of the best restaurants in Canberra. Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff and excellent food. Great for a special occasion, although the quiet atmosphere means that it probably wouldn't be a great option if you were planning on sharing a couple of bottles of wine with a boisterous crowd.

Just amazing. I went with a group of 5 and had four dishes for $75. The food was flavoursome, fresh and locally made. Each dish looked like a work of art. So much obvious thought went into each dish that the plates even matched the food. The waiters always brought the five dishes simultaneously. The wine list complimented the food. The staff should be proud of the restaurant's One Hat rating. This and their other restaurant (Waters Edge) are without a doubt in my mind, the best two in Canberra.
