Crystal Bay Resort

My family and I live here we love crystal bay we have been here two years.

We have two kids under 3 and stayed for the Gold Coast Marathon. There were many problems: 1. The second bedroom, by anyone's standard, was really a dinning room with single beds. The room closed with a bifold door that did not reach the ceiling, so all the living room and kitchen noise went straight in. 2. There was no bath, which in itself is not such a problem. However, there was no non-slip mat for the kids to stand on while they showered. When we asked for one they gave us towels! I refuse to belief that we were the first people to request such a thing. 3. The living space barely fitted a 3 seater couch and the couches that were there were uncomfortable. 4. The double bed was sunk in the middle, with the edge cutting into my skin whenever I rested on it. 5. There was no thought given to small kids - all furniture was covered with glass that had pointy or sharp edges. Within 15 minutes of being in the place my 15 month old had hurt himself on coffee table.

We stayed one night and wished we could have stayed longer! Great views over the broadwater & back towards the hinterland (we had a corner unit). Everything was very clean, nice bed, great pillows - overall a very good stay and good value too.
