Cyclic Bicycles

Purchased my entry level bike from this store. Very happy with after sale service and will be going back to update when I'm ready.

I went to one of the "big stores" first to place an order for a new bike. Service was really disorganized and random. They had no record of whether i'd paid a deposit and forgot to place the order- resulting in an extra 2 month wait for next shipment of that model. So I shopped around and Cyclic seemed to have their act together on initial phone contact. A visit to the store had me measured up and on a medium size of the bike I was after. Evan was happy to make numerous adjustments to set the bike right and get it comfortable. But alas Evan said I should go with a Large. He didn't try and push the medium on me for a quick sale. When my large arrived, Evan constructed it beautifully and again set it up to suit me. He even threw in a few bits to sweeten the bike. Follow up service has been excellent. Recently went straight back to Cyclic Bicycles when we were in the market to purchase a bike for the wife. Got great service all over again.

One man show, kind of shop. Evan is knowledgable & handy with the tools, but only has to hands, so a busy shop might leave you wanting if you're not willing to wait or pick your times to pick his brain. Has some trick stuff hanging about & can get access to some unique stuff too, but not many (any) kiddie bikes instore which speaks volumes.

I admittedly don't know much about my bicycle, however, I was upset by how condescending the staff were at this store. Definitely won't be going back, but didn't get the impression they really cared if amateurs like me do. I'm sure they're much nicer to the pros, but I'll be walking the extra distance to the competitor's store.
